WebMar 11, 2024 · Thin picks are usually used for playing soft melodies, while thick ones are great for something harder. Hopefully, everyone will be able to pick the right "Juratex" pick for their playing style. WebThin picks don’t work well for me on most basses, generally they’re used for strumming acoustic guitars. On lead guitar and bass a real thin floppy pick makes it harder to control what the tip is doing. There’s exceptions to every rule of course but you should at least get something that’s 1.2mm thick or thicker and give it a try IMO.
