WebThe taccom bolt has an extra channel cut into the bottom of it that allows the bolt catch to push upwards and hold the bolt back or open. If you dont have that extra groove and you shorten the stroke on a regular bolt with spacers the bolt wont go back behind the bolt catch and you wont be able to lock the bolt back or open.
